Coaching For Abuse - Recovery
One of my specialty interests, is the study and understanding of toxic, abusive and dysfunctional behaviours and how they affect you and your relationship with yourself and others.
Have you ever been with someone, they’ve told you that they care about you and then said or have done something that literally made you feel uneasy, get a sick feeling in your stomach, but not knowing why you were reacting to them like that? Well, you may have been exposed to a toxic/abusive behaviour or comment. If left unaddressed being around people like this can lower your self esteem, make you doubt yourself and abilities, cause confusion, pain, no motivation. Understanding the signs of toxic and abusive behaviour, and then knowing how to respond or remove yourself from it, is one of the most empowering situational behaviour awareness tools to have. Becoming empowered and aware of how you feel and how others behave is key to healing. With that awareness you then need some strategies to get over the aftermath of toxic behaviour and abuse. I can help you achieve this.
You may know or feel that something isn’t quite working in your life, but you don’t know yet how to identify what is ‘wrong’ or uncomfortable and how to change that ‘wrong’ or uncomfortable in to a place of understanding, safety and change. Having a coach who can help identify the key areas in your life that are causing discomfort or preventing you from achieving your desires can be vital. Not taking action will not make changes. The question to ask yourself is this ‘do I want to be doing, feeling, hearing and seeing what I am now, doing, feeling, hearing and seeing for the next 12 months, or for the rest of my life?' If your answer is no, then consider working with a Life Coach who specialises in the areas of your concerns. It can truly make a big difference in your life. Coaching provides a place of support, structure, strategies and accountability to implementing and achieving results. Thereby creating fulfilment in attaining the desired states you would like to achieve.
